"I heard about diatomaceous earth from a friend of mine a few weeks ago and started looking into it. I purchased a 10lb bag of the DE and started using it about a week and a half ago. "I decided what I really needed this Sunday morning was another cup of coffee, but not instant. First the coffee machine needed more water. When I filled it, I noticed my glass of water next to the filter. I went to the bedroom to fetch my tablets and saw a box. I came back to the kitchen with the box. I wanted to drink coffee from my new mug, which was sealed in a another box with a present for my friend. I went half way to the spare bedroom, and realized I had no tape to reseal the box. I picked up my cell phone to sms Malcolm to bring me more tape. I walked back into the spare room to fetch something, but forgot what by the time I was there. I saw the other box the set of mugs came in and brought it back into the dining room. I put all the guinea fowl feathers I had collected into the box with great difficulty, they kept on popping out. The feathers had been on the table for the last 2 months, waiting for me to do something with them. I put them back in the spare room cupboard.I found my cell phone on the dining room table where I had left it when I saw the feathers. I still had not sms Malcolm for more tape. I went back into kitchen and took tablets. I saw the coffee machine was on and for the life of me could not understand why it was on. The foam in the cappuccino machine was flat. I needed the mug in the box with the present. Oh no. I was going to start the whole episode over again!!! I gave up and climbed back into bed. Now I really needed coffee and my pillow was in the spare room. All this and my husband thinks I do nothing the whole day. He is sooooooo wrong. I do things the whole day, I just never achieve anything. I did not have my coffee, sms Malcolm, open the sealed box, fetch my pillow, and I am typing this without glasses, because if I start looking for them.....and its only 9 a.m. I did less when I was working!!!"

FROM DOM: Still doing well with Rutavala essential oil for sleep. Have been able to cut back my sleep meds slightly. Still, about every 7-10 days, I have a night when I can't sleep until 4 or 5 a.m. no matter what I do. "I had something happen this morning, around 5:30a.m. I often have a sore scalp, which I'm thinking must be related to the FMS/CFIDS some way. I have FMS books, but as I cried to God this morning to ask him to stop it, I shortly fell asleep. I generally don't wake up before 8 a.m. When I did wake about 8 a.m., the burning was gone, and my first thought was, please don't let that happen again!! Also, the past few months I've had this lump in the middle of my skull, about the size of a grape. I've got so many doctor appointments right now that the thought of another is a little overwhelming. I had a sleep study, but I had soooo many episodes of stopping breathing that I've got to have one that is more specialized. I've also had trouble the past few months reading. The opthamologist wasn't surprised since I've got cataracts on both eyes, which will be removed after the growth from my eye is removed. After all of that is done we'll be discussing options I'll have for my macular degeneration. I'm giving you much more info that I was planning...sorry about that! The barometer has been falling since early this morning, about the same time that my scalp felt like it was on fire."

1. Since it is a metal, it could have a tendency to break down, and leach metals into surrounding tissues and eventually into the blood, to be transported to organs and tissues all over the body.

2. Being a metal, it can act as a "lightening rod" for EMFs. And the fact that the metal is so close to the brain, is not a good thing. I personally, don't want to take the chance that my dental work is attracting EMFs to my brain.

3. In spite the fact that literature says it is "inert", there have been way too many cases of rejection and subsequent infection. Of course, the manufacturer's literature doesn't mention that! I have read stories, where the titanium implant seemed okay, in the beginning, so multiple subsequent implants were placed, only to have ALL of them go bad after a period of time, which meant ALL of them had to be pulled out. : ( What a nightmare that must be . . . to spend all that money, only to have to have them all pulled out, not to mention the subsequent awful health repercussions.

Ceramic implants have been around long enough, that there are plenty of case studies, showing they don't have the same problems as titanium implants, and don't break down, like titanium implants can. Basically, they are like hard glass, with none of the breakdown or conductivity of titanium.

If your new dentist is open to ceramic implants, and wants more info, you might have him give my dentist a call. FROM DOM: I am a slow healer as well. It's like my skin doesn't knit together quickly. When I had my ears pierced a few decades ago, the holes never healed. I finally had to give up on the idea of having pierced ears.

"I am going through a severe flare-up of IBS. It all started early one morning about 3 a.m. and has continued for at least 1-1/2 days. I don't recall having a flare-up of this intensity in 15 years. I cannot hardly move it is so painful. My stomach is so tumultuous and in turmoil. This morning I took two Dulcolax and am awaiting some relief. I searched the Internet for foods that trigger IBS and the list is phenomenal. I drank some peppermint tea flavored with honey in hopes of some relief--but none yet."

FROM DOM: My doc says that fibromyalgia affects many systems of the body. Several years ago Blue Cross Blue Shield denied me health insurance saying that since fibromyalgia affects a person from head to toe, they would have to exclude my whole body!
